In Their Shoes Выпущено 20.11.2018
Teddy Wender’s latest album entitled In Their Shoes epitomizes the phrase “labor of love.” The album took nearly two years to complete and brings together an array of familiar songs that Teddy grew up listening to and wanted to add his own touch. He spent countless hours in his new recording studio imagining being in each of the original artists “shoes” hence the album name, and recruited many of his New York City musician friends to help out. From Jimmy Cliff’s “Many Rivers To Cross,” to Willie Bobo’s “Fried Neck Bones and Some Home Fries,” Roy Orbison’s “I Drove All Night” and “One Mint Julep,” one time covered by Ray Charles, Teddy and company really dove into each and every song to pay compliment to all 20 tracks on the album.
As Teddy loves to say “I hope you dig the grooves!”
Once you give the album a listen, it will remain on your playlist.
